Four men, one website, no compromise.
A couple years ago, Rob Weychert, Jason Santa Maria, Matt Sutter and I all had the idea to create a site together. Sitting about, tossing ideas into the realm of possibility, one thing became alarmingly apparent: none of us liked anyone else's ideas.
So we took the site, and like Solomon dividing that baby and serving it to his camel sled team, we quartered the homepage so that each of us could fulfill our web dreams. Rife with quarreling, sabotage, and even cooperative projects, Quadruped is an ongoing experiment in selfishness.
Today's QP has replaced Jason with Pete Dalkner, who went that extra step beyond his predecessor, by actually posting work. We've watched the harrowing unfinished tale of Monkey Lumberjack unfold; learned the secret history behind Quadruped's origins, and witnessed the hideous morphing of two bearded men.
What will happen next? Only time will tell.
