I put together this drawing for my brother-in-law this Christmas, for our Secret Santa. I imagine it to be a forgotten toll house, perched precariously on a cliff, barely clinging to a decrepit bridge no one crosses anymore. Of course, that's only what I think. Some people like to imagine it's a sunshine-filled bed and breakfast where cookie recipes are lovingly created. These people don't necessarily lack imagination. It's just that their imagination is hungry.

I imagine them in more of a split-level. Or a cute little ranch somewhere around an orchard.
My imagination must be perpetually big, then, because I is always hungry.
Hrm, some gable and gravy, or a nice gable with a side of fries…
Forgotten toll house or cookie-scented B&B. Either way, stay out of the basement.
That's a great tour, especially the product testing department. Did you try the Cool Ranch paste?
The Gift of Gables is a gift that keeps on giving, for sure, but for that special occasion, the Gift of Wainscoting is my personal preferred choice.
I can imagine some slight dimensional rifts were involved in constructing this. When will architects learn not to touch the yellow mushrooms?
How long before ground breaks on this? I'd like to see the ribbon cutting. Perhaps, even, the ribbon holding this thing up.
Bananaglyph - Hehe - NICE :D
Cliener - Hey, if you were condemned to draw everything with a t-square and do math all day, you'd probably look for a cheap escape as well.
Terry - I'm thinking once the haunted real-estate market opens up a little, maybe Q3?
I'm wondering what my chances are of participating in a secret Santa with you next year?
I dunno about a toll house, but this certainly looks like the house from Harry Potter that his friend Ron lives in. As more children were added to the family, the parents magically added more rooms to the house ... vertically, of course. I imagine it really would be a punishment to be sent to your room if you're climbing 8 stories to get there.
Sorry, Sutter, that was me. I had the bean soup for lunch. Sorry.
@Sutter:
Definitely. Especially for those of us who snaffled a Rue Quinze, back in the '6.
