I've tried this method before. Sitting in my office looking outside and drawing people who are sun bathing usually just ends up getting someone in trouble. Maybe I need to focus on my Swingline Stapler.
you get so much form and line weight, even when you don't look. you jerk! haha....
nice one kev.
I tried the Blind Contour, and, well, my result is in the URL :)
blind contour is really interesting, I think i'll practice some more. Though I like drawing without lifting the pen, drawing without looking at the paper is another problem...
Cool. I remember doing those in my old freehand drawing classes.
i wrote a blind contour poem once, and strangely enough, it looked just like kevin's drawing. (it was a poem about pomegranates.)
I used to have to do blind contours of faces...word of advice, never ever do a blind contour of a friend's face...especially if they have self-image problems!
Anders, you and I will just have to start some sort of club boycotting the term "pair" for non-duplicate items. Like "A Pair Against Non-Pairs".
McMullen - Serves you right for working next to that nudist colony...
Wayne - I would actually like to see how a blind contour poem turns out... how good are you at writing with your eyes closed?
Fiona - We've actually done a handful of face blind contours... let me tell you, Niff did a Stan that turned out pretty scary. Yet, it's still really good!
hey! i even drew that in the dark.
Maybe one week the theme for BCF will have to be faces.

I too don't get the deal with pairs that aren't really two, like scissors and pants...
